I have seen Mr Barrett 3 times since rupturing my Achilles tendon. Each time I have received excellent care - Mr Barrett explains everything very clearly, takes time to make sure that I understand and is very happy to answer all my questions. From the beginning of my care I felt in very good hands and, despite the clinic being very busy, I never felt rushed. My last appointment today (24th December) was a video consultation and still carried out in the same professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Barrett's care.

I attended a video consultation on 24th December with Mr Barrett and found him to be very professional, helpful and empathetic. He provided a useful overview of my treatment plan, what to expect over the coming months and timelines which I found incredibly helpful. I really did not need to ask any questions as Mr Barrett had covered all relevant material. In my event, he provided contact details for his secretary should I need to revert. I am very pleased with the consultation and the way Mr Barrett handled the call as I felt that I did not miss anything by not having an in person consultation. And I felt confident about my treatment plan.

Mr Barrett was very professional, caring, friendly and informative. I felt that the advice he gave was clear and re-assuring. Although Mr Barrett was suffering with Covid and unable to make a face to face appointment he managed to phone me instead.

Very approachable caring Dr, even suffering with Covid took time to video call his patients highly recommend this Dr. I feel he is unusually caring, as he realises breaking you ankle is also mentally hard for patients as well as physically. He operated on my ankle and after 10months of hobbling got me walking again would recommend him as a surgeon also.

I broke my leg and received excellent care from Addenbrookes. My surgeon was Mr Michael Barrett, and I was pleased that he saw me on my follow up appointment on the 5th November. Throughout Mr Barrett was kind and attentive, fully explaining my injury , the procedures, and the aftercare. He dealt in detail with my questions and I was completely confident and relaxed with my treatment.
